NAE is a sporting event held between the Armed Forces, represented by the Naval College, Army Cadet Preparatory School and Air Cadet Preparatory School.
The competition has as its motto “Friendship through sport”, and aims to promote companionship and the spirit of camaraderie.The games appear in the sports calendar of schools as the main sporting competition of the year.
It is made up of the following modalities: Athletics, Football, Swimming, Shooting, Volleyball, Basketball, Chess, Orienteering, Fencing, Judo and Military Triathlon.The general coordination of the NAE is the responsibility of the Military Sports Commission of Brazil (CDMB), the body that represents Brazil at the International Military Sports Council.
Each year one of the three participating schools is the host.
In 2017 the games will be hosted at the Preparatory School of Cadets do Ar.
